information I got from the podcast

  • The traditions

    •  are the Basic Instincts

      • A why

  • Alcoholism

    •  is just a hopeless state of body and mind

      • That is where you can recover from the Hopeless state

      •  but you do not recover from the allergy of alcohol

  • Phenomenon of craving

    •  I want to say is the mind and the body put together or that more of the thought process of wanting to drink but can't

    •  the same as craving, just without the first drink in the body

  •  Craving

    •  the craving starts right when you take the first drink

      •  and when you have the craving you cannot satisfy it you always want more and more

        •  but you'll never be able to get to that point of curving that craving because the more you drink the more you going to want

          •  you're going to want to drink more when you have 30 drinks in at 2:00 a.m. then you would you just had a six pack at 2:00 p.m.

  •  Alcoholic

    •  those that cannot control their drinking

      • ` if you have the plan to stop

      •  if you have to essentially you can't put down the drink

      •  if you plan on quitting

        •  to stop drinking when you're drinking

      •  total loss of control

    •  for those that are normal drinkers

      •  they just want to have a slight out of control feeling

Why I like this podcast

  • Because it talks about the

    • history of a a that I have heard before in a sense but it puts it more in depth in the history and the making and the

    • reasoning behind the design  of Alcoholics Anonymous

      •  such as the  title

      •  and the reason why the design of the book

        •  it's also nice that the one that is describing the layout of the book is actually has some experience in printing books and why they lay out books the way that they do
